I had to remove the doors of my frig and in doing so, tore the water line to the in-door water.
There seems to be enough coiled hose line to just pull more out and re-attach inside the door. is this a difficult job? I assume I'll have to take apart the freezer door, re-attach the hose and put it back together.
Does this sound correct?
Thanks, Kenny.

You have to order the fitting and tube assembly to replace the broken part. The instructions are attached to the reply. - The fitting and tube assembly Part number: AP3179954

So there is a special end that needs replacing inside the door from what I can tell from the part picture so that the extra tubing in the frig can't just be extended? Is that correct?

This is a great thread and I appreciate all the great information. My dispenser tube broke at the tip where it comes out the door. I have a Kitchenaid KSCS25FJSS00 and I ordered Part Number: AP3179954 to get the new dispenser tube I needed. It was relatively easy to get the face off and pull the old tube out through the dispenser thanks to the great word doc. instructions posted earlier, but I can't seem to get the new tube out at the bottom of the freezer door after I thread it through. It feels like it is getting to the bottom, based on the length i'm feeding into the dispenser, but then it feels like it is hitting something and I have no clue how to get it out the bottom. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
