Default ice maker cycles twice
Model Number: 106.626517   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 5 - 10 years

When I have the shut off arm down the ice maker works but it keeps on running after the water fills the tray thus dumping the water out of the tray and into the ice-bind. then fills again and stops. makes ice, dumps ice into ice-bind. tray comes back to postion for water fill but does not stop at the end of the cycle but dumps water out as though it is ice. then it stops on the second round
HELP could this be a bad switch?

Thank you

Most likely the problem is a bad head module.

In order to provide the right part numbers I need the complete model number of the fridge. The model number you posted is incomplete or incorrect.

Verify and repost it, please.

Gene.

It should be one or two more digits in the model number, otherwise it does not come up.
