The freezer door seal is leaking again as indicated by ice at the top of the door. This seal was replaced about 18 months ago by Welch Applicnces Service Personell;.It cost $237. What is wrong that it needs a third seal in less than 5 years. Am I doing something wrong? Is this a Chinese Product?

Unless you can see something wrong with the gasket I would not replace it.
A new gasket is about $100.00 Item 8 Section 2.

Check to make sure the plastic breakers are not pooped out 37 and 39 Section 1
Check that the door closure ramp is OK Item 36 Section 1
Also check the bearing in the door bottom.
Check the bearing in the door top.
See if the upper hinge can be adjusted slightly.
Check that the unit is level actually it is better if it leans a little to the back.
If you have a lot of stuff on the door remove it. Give it at least a day before rechecking the door.
Check that the gasket is clean and that it is not folding over/grabbing on the hinge side.
A trick to solve this is a light coating of vaseline or lithium grease on the gasket/fridge surface especially on the hinge side.
