Jenn Air Refridgerator Warm
Model Number: JCD2389GES Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Jenn Air Side by Side model JCD2389GES that has the freezer cold and fridge warm problem. I can defrost the coils in the freezer and it works ok for a short time. I have two questions
1) I heard there was a recall for that. Does anyone know if that is true? 2) When I was defrosting the coils I noticed the freezer liner has a hole burned through it. The hole is on the left side of the liner about half way up the coils. Just above the heat shield for the defrost element. I saw a recall for a fire hazard to my model and scheduled an appointment with Maytag. Does anyone know if this is where the problem has been noticed on this model or is it a different problem?
