I picked up this unit from a friend who used it in his garage and it worked fine, did not have water/ice maker hooked up so we removed the ice maker and unplugged the wiring harness from the back of the freezer section and discarded. Moved it to my garage plugged it in, lights work fan works but compressor does not run. Just wondering if you remove the ice maker and wiring harness will that keep the compressor from running? 07/2002 model with adaptive defrost.
