Hello I hope someone can help me. 6 months ago someone replace my water valve and didnt bother to remove the old one so they left the new one resting next to my compressor. After a while the valve started to make noises as the compressor was on. I moved the valve one day and it made contact with electrical wires that connect to the compressor. My refrigerator died!!! I have had two repair men come in that have recommended me to replace the main board transformer and water reservoir board that controls the temperature of both freezer and fresh compartment. The refrigerator turns on the water valve makes a noise but the compressor or the water reservoir board doesnt turn on. WHat are they missing? can this be as simple as fuses they are missing? I cant imagine that after rep[lacing the two boards this is a paper weight. I cant afford a new 10K refrigerator and the reason and I am trying to fix.
