Hey everyone, I have a client "Dylan" complains of a worm fridge compartment and compressor won't turn on. I took off the evaporator coil cover and found a large and very dense chunk of ice formed only around the defrost thermostat. I procedid to defrost the ice then I did a diagnostics test to find the compressor and condenser fan are now working ;however I discovered the evaporator fan has failed. I was wondering what caused that odd circular formation of ice around the defrost thermostat and does it have anything to do with the failed fan?
