In order to gain access to the Freezer Defrost Heater and Thermistor it is necessary to completely remove the 3 Freezer Baskets and the Sliding / Extending Rails.

Prior to removing the baskets and rails the Freezer Door closed normally and sealed itself fine - with the door bins (tilt-wire version) and the Freezer Baskets in place.

After putting everything back together the door bins now slightly bump into the Large Sliding Baskets and the door does not close or seal properly.

The Sliding Rails on the Left are different from the Rails on the right - and they could not have been replaced on the wrong side - (unless someone was to drill new holes - NOT!!! ).

I marked the holes in "metal mechanism" of the Sliding Rails with RED Magic markers as I removed the Torx screws so that the alignment when replaced would be identical as when removed.

The Sliding Rails are snug and secure and work smoothly - and they do go all the way back into the freezer section without resistance. If I remove the middle and upper door Bins (which have been seated completely and properly) - the Door closes and seals itself normally.

The Door Bins and the Baskets did not change shape or dimensions from having been removed and replaced. -

ANY IDEAS WHY THIS IS HAPPENING ????
