Hi everyone. As seems like a common problem, the freezer was working fine but the fridge was at 60 degrees. I took off the panel at the back of the freezer, and the coils were completely covered in frost, top to bottom. I ordered and installed a defrost heater assembly (Appliance Parts Pros was great, fast delivery).
The fridge got back down to 40 degrees, and all was well. Now about three weeks later, it is at 60 again and the coils are frozen, but it is mostly in one section (sorry, I can't seem to attach the picture. It is a side-by-side and the bottom three inches of coils are ice, while the rest is clear). Does this mean it is more serious system problem? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!
