Hello, I have a Kenmore refrigerator that I bought in 2007 that I have been having issues with. For the last few months the freezer keeps some things frozen, but ice cream is basically soup. The ice maker was working about 2 weeks ago, but it recently just stopped making ice. When it was working, the ice would be wet most of the time, although there were sometimes when the ice would be dry.

I had 2 different professionals come out and run a test on the unit. The first person replaced the start relay because he said it was taking multiple tries to start and thought the compressor was fine, but that didnt fix the issue. The second person came out and tested the compressor and said the readings were fine and suggested that I try replacing the 2 thermistors, which I did, but it didnt fix the issue either. He said that he could replace the compressor, but he was not convinced that would fix the issue. I also blew out the condenser coil under the unit, but that didnt work either.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what the issue could be? I appreciate any help you can provide.

Thanks,

Steven
