I have a Kenmore/Whirlpool side by side refrigerator. The icemaker stopped working. (not filling with water) I checked the solenoid by disconneting the ice maker solenoid and connecting the power supply from the water solenoid to it and pressing the dispenser switch. The solenoid powered and put water into the ice maker. So that showed me that the solenoid was good and that the line was not clogged.

I made the guesstimation that the ice maker was bad and not calling for water. I replaced the ice maker and still don't get ice.

So I tested for power going to the ice maker and get 47.5vac to the power switch and have continuity thru the on/off switch and the "bin in" switch.

I see other posts where people are getting 40-60 volts and are changing the power control board and get the same voltage from the new board. I don't want to change a $300 board with a guess.

Is there any further testing that I should do? This model has the icemaker on the freezer door with no LED sensors.
