Model Number: JCD2290HES Brand: Jenn-Air Age: 1 - 5 years
I am installing a new Evaporator Motor Kit. It's a little different from the original part. It has the same two wires (one blue, one white). The old part had the wires already attached to a panel. With this new motor, you have to insert the two wires into two identical flat metal prongs attached to the "white tape" area of the motor. Why is one wire blue & one white? Does it make a difference which wire goes into which prong? Also, at the bottom end of the prongs, on one side, is a tiny metal round pinhead. Should the side of the metal that is attached to the end of the wires that has the slight groove in it snap in on the side of the prong with the pinhead? Any questions, please call (919)601-8230.
