Need help. My refrigerator all of a sudden just stop working. Everything is off. Checked the circuit breaker and it's fine. The fridge is set between two walls so nothing could have moved it to mess up the cables or anything. Everything else in the kitchen is working except for the fridge. Apparently, this is not covered by the warranty. What could the issue be? The estimate I got was $90 just for a technician to come out and look at it and $75 per hour for labor. Is this right? I can't believe this happened since this is fairly new. I have had other refrigerators that lasted longer than this.

The first thing you need to do is check the cord and the outlet. I've worked on several refrigerators that had a bad cord or a bad plugin. It happens.

If you have no lights and no signs of power, you start there.

Okay. So a cord can just go bad then? How can I tell if it's the cord or plug? In any case, we'll need to pull the refrigerator out to check that. Thank you. I'll let you know what I find out. By the way, is there some kind of a reset button on this?

So it's the outlet. Never thought that it could be that. Everything's good now. Thanks!
