I have a Samsung French door refrigerator/freezer model RFG293HAS purchased in early 2013. About a month ago something was blocking inside the freezer and the drawer didn't close properly so frost developed. After cleaning that up and removing half the items I had in there, I noticed a slight frost continued to develop.

I tried the dollar bill test. Put a bill between the gasket and the frame and shut the freezer. When you close the freezer drawer there is the vacuum sound and the gasket seals. Can't pull out the $ bill. Less than a minute later you see the accordion folds of the gasket unseal about an 1/8". The $ bill pulls out easily.

The gasket and all of its folds have been thoroughly cleaned for any crumbs, dirt, etc. Temperatures are holding at factory recommendations (-2 freezer; 38 fridge). Now I'm wondering if the refrigerator is working overtime to maintain these temps.

Any ideas?
