Good Morning - have been on a journey of repair to my icemaker.
I replaced the optic boards, made sure no ice blocks water inlet to icemaker - finally called repair guy when ice maker water valve began dripping heavily and continuously flooding the freezer. He suggested the pin valve in the copper line in the basement needed replacing because it was not giving enough water pressure to turn the valve off. Doubted it was the water valve itself. I replaced the pin valve in the copper line. Then order the new valveIMV-708 and replaced just as in your video! Turned on power, turned on water, new valve tight but water began dispensing from the door and would not shut off. I see discussions about water pressure but no advice about how to "reset" this so the door dispenser will turn off.

thanks for any help!
