i have a GE profile french door refrigerator. woke up yesterday to high temp readings in both the fresh side and freezer. have unplugged the fridge and let it sit for a couple of hours til i determine what to do. the temp are now normal and have been this way for more than 24 hrs. i have replaced the mother board previously and dont think it could be this. i have been reading it could be the temp sensor.. question is if it was the temp sensor could it act irregularly? or would it be a consistent high temp reading?
