Coils in the freezer aren't defrosting. I've replaced the Temperature sensor and the Thermal fuse. Help

Have you ohmed out the heater? If so, what reading did you get?

No I haven't I'll do that this evening. Are the contacts in the freezer or on the main board?

I would do it from the freezer so u get a good ohm of the heater itself. Can ohm the defrost tstat while u r at it too.

No reading as in it shows as open? What was the temp of the freezer when you ohmed the t-stat?

I took it out to check it. Yes it showed no reading as being open. The heater coils shows a complete circuit.

It opens and shuts off current to the heater when it gets warm enough. That's why I asked what the temp of the unit is? Have you tried forcing it into defrost and checking voltage?

Nevermind, I was thinking sensor, not fuse. If the fuse is blown, either there is a short somewhere blowing it, or the temp sensor isn't reading the temp correctly and allowing the evap to get too warm. Since you replaced the sensor, I would lean towards a board issue interpreting the sensor data incorrectly. Put the temp sensor in an ice bath and ohm it out. Post the results and we can check the chart to confirm it's working.
