I am having some issues with the water line on my GE side by side. I suspect there is a leak in the water line that runs up from the bottom of the door.

A while back, I noticed that rust spots were beginning to form in a straight line underneath the water and ice dispenser on the door. More recently, I began having issues with the water dispenser itself. It froze, but I had no problem unfreezing it. However, when I use the water dispenser, it takes several seconds for the water to begin dispensing which leads me to believe there is a leak somewhere in the line that is causing the water level in the line to drop. Used to, the water began dispensing immediately. Now, like I said, it takes several seconds for the water to begin streaming.

Is the water line replaceable on this model? If so, how do I do this? I took the dispenser panel and everything off on the front of the door but couldn't go any further. I looked on the inside of the door and removed the seal to look for mounting screws. There aren't any. Please tell me this is fixable.

Has anyone else had issues with either the rust or delayed water dispensing?
