I was asked to run a water line to this used (not sure of the age) refrigerator in a rental. One issue after another has crept up.

1. The plastic supply line was kinked...replaced.

2. After cutting into the water main in the crawlspace and hooking up the new supply line, I noticed water spraying out of the solenoid...replaced (it had been stored in a garage).

3. The gear that is meant to move the ice into the cup is not moving.

Any ideas?

This is not my rental and the owner was hesitant to spend the money to install the water line in the first place.
