I am having issues with my refrigerator/freezer. it seems to hold the temperature if I have the adjustment knobs (freezer and ref. adjust from 0-5 or warmer to colder setting) all the way to 5. then the compressor doesn't shut off as it seems to run and run. if I adjust the refrigerator know down to 4 then it will shut off in several minutes. it stays off to where the ice cream for example turn to liquid in the freezer. the refrigerator seems to be ok but harder to tell. the air flow into the refrigerator from freezer is fine. the fan in the freezer is fine. the compressor is fine with coils in freezer all iced up the same. I'm thinking it's the thermostat but I am not sure how to tell for sure. I really don't want to spend $80 on something that doesn't fix it. thanks for any help you can provide.
