I have an older (about 15 yrs) GE profile refrigerator that has developed a knocking from the control area behind the produce drawers. Some times about every 5 mins. there are about 8 sharp, rapid knocks. In addition, there is no trace of the usual frost around the ice dispenser chute. Before I start removing the cover, would this have an individual relay control or require a new circuit board? And would a repairman be the best idea, especially since I'm not as agile as I used to be? Also, there is a lot of air being blown into the lowest veggie drawer from behind.
Thanks
