This unit was new when installed in a in dry bar. At the same time we also installed a Uline wine refrigerator in the same dry bar. The mini refrigerator worked very well for about 2 1/2 years and then it stopped cooling. I can jump start the unit by turning the fuse off and then on but the cooling only lasts a day or two. I have had a general purpose appliance repair man look at the unit but his advice was that he though it had something to do with the door seal. I tested the seal and it is fine. So I thought I would have to accept that the unit is done for but then the wine refrigerator stopped working and it is has the same thing: not cooling, but the light is on and I can get it to start cooling if I play with the fuse but again cooling only lasts a day or two. Now I am wondering if the problem lies with the thermostat in both refrigerators. Are Uline thermostats known to die only after 4-5 years? Thank you.
