I have a GFSS6KKYCSS that had an older MWF filter in it and started a small drip at the filter. I replaced the filter with a new one and it continued to leak. After a couple more days the leak got much much worse. When I take the filter out completely there is no leak, but then there is no water or ice (of course). I checked the filter mount, replaced the o-rings and ensured there are no cracks.

It almost seems like there is back pressure going into the filter causing the water to exit past the o-rings at the top of the filter. When the filter is installed both the water and ice work fine. Any ideas and thanks for the help.
