A friend asked me to put in the heated articulation mullion on her GE Profile French Door frig. She had a GE appliance repair person out that said it was bad (not heating) and thus creating the condensation issue that she was having. The repair person wanted more than she could afford for the part and labor, almost $350. He even told her that it was a 15 minute job. So she found the part and I put the new one in. No heat. Checked the new one (and sadly the old one) and both showed continuity. Looked for voltage at the plug and found none. Anyone have any ideas?

Is there a wiring diagram somewhere on this refrigerator or is one available online somewhere? Is it likely that the mullion heater is wired from the motherboard? Any help would be appreciated.
