I had posted about a problem I was having about a week ago and have so far not gotten a response. I know these newer units can be evasive in pinpointing an exact cause if the problem is not occurring at the time, they are hard to diagnose. As this happens to be my personal refrigerator and not a customer, it is somewhat less of a priority. I called Whirlpool and the don't have an answer. My question is at this point, if anyone may have had a similar experience, should the evaporator fan come on as soon as the unit cycles on. Mine has a delay of about 1 minute or more but does not seem to exceed 2 minutes. My thinking is that it could be either the electronic control or the main board. If there should be no delay than I am satisfied it is the main board, if not, it could be either. However the electronic control did respond to a setting change, but that is not saying it does not have an intermittent problem as well. I don't mind getting both parts but would rather know for sure which part is bad.

Thanks' Ron
