I have a tri temp 5 gallon water dispenser that is not cooling the water, or the small fridge compartment below.

what i know:
-hot water dispenses just fine and measures 165F.
-room temp water also just fine and around 73F
-cold water is the same temp as room temp
-condenser on back of unit has surface temp on the top of 76F while on the bottom is 72F
-compressor runs, and will not shut off. after running for about 1/2 hour compressor surface temp is 137F and climbing.
-the typical "water drippng" noise can be heard from the compressor area.

any help where to start would be great! thanks!

Sorry but it sounds like the unit is toast.

Since the compressor runs but you do not get any cooling, it is a sealed system problem.
This would be an expensive repair.
Probably a lot more than what the unit is worth.

Also trying to find a place that sells any internal parts would be very difficult, at least I cannot find one.
