in this fridge the evap fan is not running and it is not defrosting i replaced the fan and the thermostat bot the fan will not run so i took the wiers off the fan and checked for power and got 117.7 volts but when i pluged the fan back in voltage droped to (0)

Which thermostat did you replace?

Sounds like a bad adaptive defrost board.

Have you tried forcing a defrost?

Below is how you start and stop it.
Press and release the Fresh Food Door Switch 5 times within 6 seconds.

Remove the cover in the freezer so you can check the heater.
Be careful that you do not burn your fingers.
Note that the defrost thermostat must be frozen for this to work as it removes power from the defrost heater just above freezing.

If the heater comes on then it is a bad board.

If the heater does not come on then it could be something else but still could be a bad board.
