My GE refrigerator has an irratic temperature swing in the freezer compartment. Over the course of a few days, I see the temperature guage go from zero to 5 or 6 degrees. It often causes the water reservoir to freeze and actually caused it to crack and leak. The lower food compartments occassionally also freeze up. I have the freezer set to zero and the fresh food temperature set to 45 degrees.
