Less than 6 months ago we were having condensation problems inside the refrigerator. We replaced the icemaker door and icemaker (both purchased from appliancepartspros.com). We also replaced the icemaker motor at that time.
Before leaving town for a few days we turned the icemaker off per operating manual. When we returned, and turned the icemaker back on, the ER IF error message showed up. Turned off the power to the fridge for a few minutes, then back on. Display panel looked ok, but after a few minutes error returned. Have turned the icemaker on and off a few times, but error always returns. Fridge and freezer seem to be working ok.
Is there a fuse or other type of breaker that could trip in the icemaker? The new icemaker was working fine until we turned it off. Now it doesn't work.
When we turn off the icemaker, and reset the fridge breaker, the error goes away.
Thanks for your help.
