I have a Whirlpool side by side ref that has an aif flow problem. The fan seems to be OK except sometimes it does't start. I've found if I bump the shroud in front it will start up. I'v looked at it several times and am at a loss to what part I might need to fix this problem. The fan seems to be a little out of balance, vibrating and a little noisy. Maybe it needs new gromets. The model is ed25qfxhb01

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL ED25QFXHB01 | AppliancePartsPros.com

I would pull the fan and check if it spins OK outside the unit.
Also check that there is no slop in the bearings.
Check that the fan blade is clean and symmetrical. A glob of something on one blade will cause it to go out of balance.
Check that the fan grommets are good and not interfering with the fan.
You could also attach the fan to a line cord and run it outside of the unit.

If the grommets and blade look OK then I would replace the fan.
If anything looks iffy I would also replace that part, they are not that expensive and pulling the unit apart again is a pain.
