My Maytag is leaking a small puddle 3 or 4 oz under the left front corner every 3 days or so. I have no ice build up in my freezer and the drain hole is flowing freely into the drain pan when I run hot water threw it. It is a side by side. 4 years old.
I have only been reading about ice blocked drain hole. Not in my case.

If it has ice/ water in the door, there is a water fill line located in that general area which may be leaking.
This model has a problem with ice melting in the fill chute, allowing water to form in front of the machine, making it appear as though there is a water leak.
I have recommended people place a dish towel in the area where the ice and water fill is, to catch water drips. That way you can determine if it is dripping down from the chute or if it is a leak under the fridge.
