My 20+ year old Whirlpool refrigerator quit working yesterday. I narrowed it down to the Starter relay. It is a GE magnetic relay that is out of production.
I shook / tapped the relay and the core came loose. It has worked through the night but I know I should replace it.
The replacement recommended is AP3119970 and it is over $60.
It doesn't appear to have a capacitor any where that I can see.
My question is could I use a PRO41 or R041 instead and save the $50?
Thanks
