I am just beginning to trouble shoot the problem of the freezer being cold (10) but the fresh food side only 60. The evap fan is running but it doesn't seem to be blowing enough to cool the fresh food side. Is it only a single speed motor so that it is either running or not ? I don't see any control boards in the parts diagrams.

Hi.

The 10 degrees in the freezer is not cold. It should be around 0 degrees. Remove the rear panel in the freezer compartment to expose the evaporator and check the frost pattern on the coils. Your problem may be caused by the defrost system failure. In the case like that the coils will be blocked with snow. Best if you can take a picture of the evaporator coils an post it.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and parts for refrigerator

Model CSX22GRZAWW

Thank you.

Simon.
