I am working on a Kenmore refrigerator ice maker. The original ice maker stopped making ice. When I cycled it the fingers turned to about half way into the mold then stopped. They would not move any further so I replaced the ice maker. Now the problem is the replacement ice maker will only dump one or two times then will not make any more ice. So, I replaced that ice maker and still same results. Doing a bench test the ice maker functions normally. Once back in the freezer it will only dump one or two times and then will not make ice anymore. This is the ice maker with the fan on the front. I have tried it with and without the fan and still get same results. Condenser coils are clean, system is fully charges and the defrost cycles properly. Temp in freezer is -7 degrees F. What now? I have been doing repairs on refrigerators for over 10 years and have never had this problem. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The water valve is functioning properly and water pressure is good.
