I have a Frigidaire frs26h5asb4 side by sde refrigerator. The ice maker has stopped producing ice. I have tested and replaced the water intake as it failed the electrical test. The maker was replaced about 8 months ago so it should be fine. The water pressure is fine. I can 'force' a harvest cycle by turning the arm. the problem is that it wont cycle on its own and once the arm has completed its harvest rotation, the water wont run. On one occasion i thought it might be the inlet in the freezer being blocked by ice, so I ran a hair dryer over it for about 4-5 minutes. Then the water ran but no ice came out of the tube incicating that it was frozen. Later, after it sat for another hour, I unhooked the water inlet on the back of the fridge and was able to stick a straw through the intake so I know it wasnt blocked. Still wont fill when a harvest cycle runs nor will it cycle on its own with ice in the maker... Any ideas on what needs to be fixed?
