Last night we found both sides of the refrigerator not cooling. Water was dripping all over. The fan inside the freezer section was running and so was the fan next to the compressor. Lights were on too.

First thing first, I looked at youtube videos and all pointed to one of the following potentially being bad.

1. Main Board https://www.geapplianceparts.com...re/parts/spec/WR55X10942
2. Freezer thermostat https://www.geapplianceparts.com...re/parts/spec/WR50X10068
3. Compressor
4. Thermistors https://www.geapplianceparts.com...re/parts/spec/WR55X10025

I then turned off the refrigerator, waited about 1hr and then plugged it back in. The compressor started again which now eliminates the compressor as a bad unit. That leaves me with the Mainboard, freezer thermostat and thermistors.

Most likely the issue is with the mainboard. Am I correct with the assesment?

Sorry, I have given links to geapplianceparts but the same are available at appliance parts pros for much much less.

Thanks.
