I have a GE side/side freezer/refridgerator. Model #GSS25JSRESS. It's 9.5 years old. The freezer is not freezing. I had a trusted repairman here today and here is the prognosis. All systems that have been checked and are in good working order include: evaporator thermistor, defrost thermostat, heating element, motherboard, freon level and pressure. It appears the freon is not moving through the coils. I'm told the next step is to replace the freon dryer filter and the repairman says that he's never seen it work. Can you advise? Thank you.
