A friend utilized the ice dispenser on my side by side and all power was instantly gone. No lights, no cooling, no sounds, no nothing. After investigating online, i ordered and overnighted the FRIGIDAIRE Board-Main Power Part #: AP5809303 (242115279) from the Appliance Parts Pros phone line. Did a quick install, turned the power back on, and all worked well FOR ONLY 24 HOURS. My brother was utilizing the ice dispenser when the power was lost again, EXCEPT for a constant loud slapping noise of the door's ice dispensing flap opening and closing. This slapping sound will not stop unless i pull the plug (i flipped the breaker). I left the power off for about an hour, turned it back on hoping to reset the system, but nothing is working except for the opening/ closing of the door's ice dispensing flap noise. Any suggestions? The thing is only about 3 years old, no warranty remaining, and all my problem.
