About 2 years ago, I had to replace a main board due to tripping the breakers in the house for a small electrical job.
Yesterday I had to trip the breaker once again. After resetting the breaker the fridge stopped working again. My guess is a bad main board or display panel.

Is a surge protector the best thing to get to prevent this type of scenario?
