Hello, I bought a new start relay and overload for my refrigerator. The overload looks identical, but the start relay looks different. The old one has copper wires wrapped around something. The new one looks like a black box.
my question, where would the wires go? I have a orange wire and a cream wire.

If you hold the new start device with the input, spade terminals facing you and the tab on top, the fridg power wire goes to one of the right terminals. The run capacitor goes between the left and right terminal. The other fridg power wire goes to the overload device. This is the standard pinnout, start terminal on the bottom, left and the run terminal on the bottom, right of the compressor.
When you plug every thing in and plug in the fridg and the compressor fails to start, you wired it in wrong, unplug fridg FAST.
