Our fridge began freezing food - but the freezer is at a nice steady 0 degrees. We replaced the damper - still froze food. So replaced the thermostat for the fridge side. Fridge does not get cold enough. Put the old thermostat back in - food froze again. Put a new replacement thermostat in (in case the first replacement was defective) - fridge side does not get cold enough again. The damper seems to not be running quite enough with the replacement thermostat. When it runs - the temp gets to about 38 degrees. Then the damper stops running - and the temp goes to about 42-46 degrees. With the old thermostat - the damper seems to run almost continuously and the temp on the fridge side is about 26-30 degrees. We just need a nice, happy medium.

Both fans appear to be working correctly. We do, however, also have a problem with water in the bottom of the freezer which then freezes. We checked the coils - there is no frost on them. Ice maker and water work just fine.

Thanks,
