Power surge cause of problems. Freezer working well, fridge not cooling. Initial diagnostics gave me 1-S for shorted Defrost circuit. Replaced circuit board and it now tests 1-O. Still not cooling fridge. Additional diagnostics give me FAILS on Compressor/Condenser Fan test, and Evaporator/Freezer Fan test. I pulled the cover on the freezer and can confirm the evaporator fan does not spin. No ice on coils. When performing the Compressor/Condenser fan test: no compressor noise, but the compressor runs in normal operation to cool the freezer, I can hear it.
Where do I go from here? Is there another board with the compressor that might have shorted also affecting the freezer fan?
Thanks for any help!!
