I recently purchased a used GE side by side refrigerator. The evaporator coils would freeze up after an hour or two of running. I have replaced the defrost heater, the defrost thermostat, the temperature sensor, and the motherboard. It worked great for 3 days, however on the fourth day the evaporator in the freezer Side has frozen up thus causing the fridge side to heat up to around 65 degrees. What am I missing ? What do I need to look for to solve this problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is the evaporator motor failing due to an ice clog?

There is no ice around the motor. It is all under the motor.

The only thing left is the evaporator thermistor clipped to the top of the evaporator, if way off value it will cause defrost problems.
Also, remove the 3 pin, gray power connector and place a wire between the mating pins marked line and def. on the motherboard. Assuming the fridg is cold, plug it in, you should now get defrost action. If so, replace the evaporator thermistor mentioned.
