My Samsung fridge evaporator has been icing up every few months for about 6 months. I've defrosted it twice and it went back to working pretty well. THis time, I defrosted it, but the fan stopped working (this is in the refrigerator compartment on a side by side). So I ordered a new fan motor, because everything else seemed to be working fine, and I figured the motor must have burned out from all the icing up.
The new motor came today from Repair ************. I replaced it and plugged everything back in. Again, the evaporator is cooling fine, but the fan still doesn't work. I checked both ends of the plug and there doesn't seem to be any damage, nor is there any damage to the wire along the way.
What can cause the motor not to run, besides a bad motor???
Any help is appreciated!
