Refrigerator not cooling. Check oms at compressor got a reading of 10.0, 6.0 and 3.6. Check the capacitor got a high reading that went quickly down. Bought a new start relay part no. W10189190 but that did not work. I am unable to get a read out of oms on the start relay. The old of new one. What should I do for my next try to get the Refrigerator running. Scott

From reading your question sounds like you know how to use a millimeter, I would check to see if your getting 110 volts to the compressor relay. If your not check to see if your getting 110 volts to your thermostat / cold control. If you have power to one side of your cold control, check to see if you have power on the other side of cold control . If not, you have a defective cold control /thermostat.

I had power at the compressor, and the fan was running. When checking the power at the thermostat control I messed up and shorted out. Now no power at the compressor and the fan is not working. The water filter light keeps blinking on and off, and there is some kind of clicking noise like a relay.
