There was a wire in the ice maker were the two ends went into a very soft silicone block that was just hanging there I suspect it was some kind of sensors. When my wife pulled the tray out to clean it the wire shorted out no there is no power to the fridge the control board has no lights. I have removed the part with the wire from the ice maker it is attached to the actuator arm block. And still no power. Could the short have shorted out the board. And is there a way to check

I had the same thing happen with the wires in the ice maker, except both my Freezer and Refrigerator readings now say "SH" (Short). Were you ever able to resolve the issue? Thanks!
