I received a replacement motor module (Part 8201515) for the ice maker in my fridge. However while all dimensions and everything else looks the same as my original, I notice that the replacement motor is only a 1.5W motor. My orginal motor is 3W and has the marking on the motor itself 626676. It is also almost twice the size of the replacement.
My question is this: Will the smaller motor work or will it burn out after a short while. I am 100% sure it will fit - so that is not a problem. I am only unsure as to why the replacement motor is so much smaller than my original. I need to clear this up before I install otherwise I will not be able to return the part.

There are so many part numbers for this part that I am totally confused.
Thanks for any help.
