Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me. My freezer door hinge (2 prong) is broken so the left side won't shut. It looks like the hinge or bracket comes out of the railing. I have called LG but they can't figure out what part I need. This hinge is hooked directly to the freezer door and makes it tilt. If anyone can tell me where I can get the part that needs to be replaced and how I should replace it, that would be greatly appreciated.

Here are your parts
Parts for LG LFX25980ST / ASTCLGA Refrigerator - AppliancePartsPros.com

Look in the Door Parts section.
I think you need either 249 P or 249.

Also these parts may be obsolete.

If you go to the Sears parts site and search for this model number you will find a LFX25980ST and a LFX25980ST01.

The ST unit does not show the above parts as separately available.
The ST01 unit does show them and says they are available.
I do not know why this is.
Could be if the the tilt connect (249R) is removable.
