Ice chute flap appears to be closing properly. I don't see any light through it when looking down into chute when the flap is closed. There does not appear to be any frost or ice build up in chute caused by an air leak and condensation.
I'm wondering if the chute is opening enough though. When asked for ice, the flap opens, but I can open it twice that amount with my finger. I think the ice jams because there is not enough room between the flap and the water tube when the flap is open. Should the flap open more? Is there any adjustment if I were to open the front panel? A spring, striker, or do you think I may need a new solenoid? The flap solenoid does buzz loudly.
Thanks for your help!
