Hi,
I have a followup question to your response to my posting. Please also see the pictures that I have uploaded. My original posting is at this page: AP4171999 under my name Akash.
Thank you so much for your response. The technician suggested to test the sensor in the defrost system for resistance. The technician said it will be yellow or brown wire going to a tube. I don't see any yellow or brown wire.
I'm attaching a picture of my defrost assembly. There are a couple of red wires going to a tube, and I'm assuming that is the sensor. It's on the right side of the defrost coil. I tested it for resistance, and at room temperature it was reading .2 ohms. Does this mean the sensor is bad?
I also tested the heater for continuity, and it showed 99 ohms. Is that good or bad? There is also a couple of thin white wires going to a white component sitting on top of the defrost coil (on right). What is this part, and how do I test it?
I just want to isolate the problem, so I can order the right part to replace. I appreciate any help you can provide with this.
Thanks again, -Akashsakash attached the following image(s):
